Maximilian v. Aulock, Cultural manager has worked in the fields of music and theater for ca. 10 years. He started as a stage manager at the Prinzregententheater in Munich, while also organizing concert projects as a freelancer for the MünchenMusik GmbH. In 2003, Maximilian v. Aulock began studying arts management and cultural work at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam and worked as an assistant to the curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Mexico City in winter 2006. In 2006, he became project manager and in 2007 interim manager for the contemporary program series Kunst aus der Zeit’(Art of our times) at the Bregenz Festival in Austria. Maximilian v. Aulock has worked with artists such as D. Pountney, F. Cerha, B. Mason, E. Poppe, B. LaBruce, M. Subortnick, Lillevan and Herbordt/Mohren, and ensembles such as Gob Squad, Nico and The Navigators, cie. toula limnaios, ensemble mosaik, ensemble Intégrales. In May 2004, his book Heimspiel Auswärts? Koproduktionen im Festivalbetrieb was published. Maximilian v. Aulock is married and has a son. He works and lives in Berlin.
